My sea glass story

I've lived by the coast most of my life, but only in recent years did I start to appreciate all of its hidden treasures. Tucked in-between pebbles or simply lying on the beach, I discover small pieces of coloured glass, tumbled by waves, salt and sand for tens or even hundreds of years. Still damp from sea water, they would shine like precious jewels amongst the muted colours of the surrounding pebbles and beach, making them impossible to resist putting in my pocket. Before long, I had amassed a large collection of clear, blue, aqua marine, green and turquoise sea glass, and decided to turn it into something everyone could enjoy. Starting with pendants, stud and drop earrings, I then moved onto making hoops, ankle chains and bracelets. Sea glass jewellery making is the perfect vocation for me, providing relaxation from the coastal walks, endorphins from each discovery and constant inspiration from creating new pieces.
